Art Stage Jakarta, Indonesia’s first boutique international art fair celebrating the country’s vibrant and diverse contemporary art scene, will launch its inaugural edition from August 5-7. The fair will present 50 galleries, bringing together the best of contemporary art from across Indonesia under one roof.

As the country’s most exclusive art event, Art Stage Jakarta is also supported by the leading Indonesian premium lifestyle and high-society magazine, Indonesia Tatler.

Art Stage Jakarta will be Indonesia’s window to the international art world, juxtaposing the best of the country’s modern and contemporary art with important participating exhibitors from Southeast Asia, greater Asia, and the West.

Also supporting the fair, are many leading Indonesian collectors as well as several important social opinion leaders:

– Board of Art Patrons, presided by top collector Deddy Kusuma

– Board of Friends, presided by VVIP Maria Lukito

Art Stage Jakarta will be held in the outstanding ambience of the Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City, owned by leading collector Alex Tedja. It is Jakarta’s ideal new and will showcase leading galleries from Indonesia and renowned galleries from abroad, present modern and contemporary art at its best.

One of the fair highlights is a museum-like exhibition showcasing masterpieces from significant private collections. This exhibition will be curated by respected Indonesian curator Enin Suprianto.

Art Stage Jakarta will serve as the world’s unique window to the richness and diversity of contemporary Indonesian art, ensuring that it will have a strong regional and international.
