When it comes to social drinking, whisky is believed to be one of the most popular beverages that connects people together, and to be among the healthiest alcohol everyone can drink. Whisky will always be the perfect drink for any occasion, which is no wonder why Mobiliari Group recently launched the T.Whisky Club. More than just an ordinary drinking club, it is a platform filled with kindred souls who are connected by a common interest and a wish to share the joy of whisky around the world–from the taste and history to their honest review and experience, and so much more.

The T.Whisky Club consists of three pillars of values, the first one being “Social” to focus on the members who are divided into Honorary Committee and Tribes. The Committee is filled with honorary club members, while the Tribes are elected members who have a vast amount of experience in the world of whiskey. The next pillar is “Knowledge”, which is composed of extensive knowledge, such as historical facts, recommendations and other variety of interesting facts, within the broad world of whiskey. Lastly, “Experience” covers all the whisky events and collaboration with famous whisky labels the Club holds.

As such, the town truly went abuzz when the T.Whisky Club held its inaugural launch one Friday night, which was made possible thanks to the generous sponsorship from The Triple Distilled Auchentoshan Single Malt Scotch Whisky. The fun and glamorous event was held at the Motion Blue in Fairmont Jakarta in a marvelous setting accompanied by smooth instrumental jazz while the Committee and Tribes mingled around. Among the guests were Tatler Indonesia’s friends such as Eva Iskandar, Deborah Iskandar, Elizabeth Liman, and many more.

All of the guests were treated to a three-course dinner curated by the hotel’s acclaimed chefs and famed mixologist Kenny Soetomo. Each dish was perfectly paired with different types of whiskies to enhance the flavour of the food, starting with the cocktail Teacher’s Highland Cream mixed with Lapsang Souchong tea and infused with carbonated agave prior to the dinner. Other delicious Auchentoshan whiskies served that night include the 12-years Old Malt and the Auchentoshan Three Wood Malt Bowmore 12-year Old Malt.
