Indonesia Business & Charter Aviation Summit 2014
Jetgala Indonesia & Indonesia Tatler with Indonesia National Air Carriers Association (INACA) & Avcon Group would like to invite you to participate in the 1st Indonesia Business & Charter Aviation Summit (IBCAS) 2014, which will be held on 15-16 October, 2014 at the Grand Mercure Hotel Jakarta. This event focus on developing global standards and best practices for Indonesia’s General Aviation sector.
The growth of Indonesia economy and the geographical features of our country have had a positive impact on the demand for more business and charter aviation, particularly from the business community and also industry sectors such as tourism, mining, offshore oil & gas, photography, pilot training, surveying, medical evacuation and aerial services.
INACA’s 18 charter operators are leading the development of this industry in Indonesia, as they continue to expand their services and also invest in specialized and innovative aircraft & helicopters from international manufacturers around the world. According to the 2013 Indonesia DGCA statistics, there are a total of 38 Charter operators holding an Air Operators Certificate (AOC) 135, and there are 276 aircraft registered under AOC 135. Out of this number, there is a total of 132 Helicopters registered. For AOC 137, which includes all Pilot Flying schools, there are a total of 196 aircraft registered.
To support this increasing demand in business and charter aviation, the key industry players In Indonesia are looking at developing attractive leasing packages and ensuring sufficient General Aviation training facilities for pilots and technicians. With only 2 major airports that currently serve the business and charter aviation market, Indonesia’s two largest airport operators, AP1 and AP2 have also planned to increase their investment in building more world class FBOs in their major airports to support the growth of this industry.
With these issues in mind, IBCAS 2014 will serve as an important marketing, networking and learning platform, will bring together international and domestic business and charter operators, manufacturers, MROs, lessors, consultants and solution providers from around the world, to discuss growing need for building Indonesia’s business and charter aviation market.
