Welcoming another special time of the year, the month where all families honour motherhood, Indonesia Tatler celebrates Mother’s Day this May and gets an exclusive interview with a handful of amazing mothers including the fabulous Adinda Bakrie Ong, Sendy Yusuf, Linda Hendropriyono, Lisa Mihardja, Susi Pudjiastuti, Dian Muljadi and many others.

From our Minister of Maritime Affairs to businesswomen as well as a former model and actress, we’ve got it all covered. Even with their differences in professions and careers, all these ladies share great affection for their children. Other than that we are also featuring an article on the legendary fashion designer, Karl Lagerfeld, the king of haute couture, who shares his views on fashion.

In our Life section, we get to experience the exciting menu from Auroz restaurant together with a group of lovely ladies, the spouses of foreign diplomats in Indonesia and the newly appointed female ambassador of Sweden. We also had the chance to meet with chef Valentino Valtulina, whose true passion is cooking excellent Italian cuisine for his guests. He puts this into action in his new restaurant in Jakarta, Ristorante da Valentino, which is now the talk of the town.
