Amanjiwo Reopens Its Luxurious Nature Getaway With Fantastic Upgrades

With travel restrictions easing up, Amanjiwo welcomes guests to come and enjoy memorable experiences at the start of 2021. The luxury resort is only a 75-minute drive from the Adisucipto International Airport in Yogyakarta and two hours straight from Adi Soemarmo International Airport in Solo.

The resort sits in the rural heartland of Central Java between views from the peaks of Menoreh Hills and stupas of Borobudur temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Drawing visitors from around the world, the breathtaking setting of emerald-green rice fields and the whispers of gamelan music are just some of the charms of Amanjiwo. As such, the suite designs are to resemble the beauty of the surroundings from the domed roof to the blush-beige paras stone walls, and the lush greeneries around.

Most coveted is the intimate, two-bedroom Dalem Jiwo suite where guests can enjoy the views of Borobudur while swimming at the 15-metre pool or lounging at the large wraparound porch. A personal butler is always on call to arrange all tours and dining options. Taking pride in its signature experiences, Amanjiwo offers many indulgent options of wellbeing facilities and programmes to allow complete mind and body rest.

Feel the fresh air while having a fun cycling session at the beautiful foothills of Mount Sindoro and Mount Sumbing. Guests can also choose to take a meditation retreat at sacred sites to purify the mind and alleviate the stresses of modern living. For those with a knack for all things cultural, Amanjiwo’s resident anthropologist Patrick Vanhoebrouck is more than happy to share his knowledge, such as the region’s unique customs and histories of centuries-old temples. After these excursions, do enjoy delectable Western and Indonesian cuisines from Amanjiwo’s new series of private dining at the picturesque, open air Restaurant and the Pool Club.
