Patricia Mayoree: A Virtual Birthday

Spreading joy and cheer amid the current situation in Surabaya during the coronavirus pandemic, Patricia Mayoree celebrated her birthday with a glamorous show of Broadway-style songs and dances. Adhering to stay-at-home orders and following health and safety guidance, only Mayoree and dancers from the Broadway Dance Company Indonesia were present on stage for the Zoom livestream.

Her friends and family from all around the world joined in the “Gebyar 18” party to celebrate her sweet 18th birthday. To express her love of fashion, especially those made by local designers, Mayoree went through three outfit changes specially made by Diana Couture. Among performances of pop chart-toppers from Western and Indonesian singers, she sang a duet with fellow music lover and President Commissioner Triawan Munaf of Garuda Indonesia. She also performed a medley of Didi Kempot’s songs as a tribute to the late Indonesian campursari-genre legend.
