Tatler Traveller moves to quarterly
High-end travel title appeals to new wealth class
Mobiliari Group, publisher of Indonesia Tatler, Cosmetic Surgery & Beauty Indonesia, and Indonesia’s Best Restaurants has announced that its travel publication, Indonesia Tatler Traveller, will run to four issues in 2014. The first issue will be in March.
The magazine has a strong domestic travel focus, especially on Bali. According to BaliDiscovery, the growth in Indonesians visiting Bali over the Christmas period 2012/13 was around 30%. Mainland Indonesians are also buying property in Bali: some 80% of property transactions are Indonesians buying luxury accommodation, according to the Jakarta Globe.
“This is the market Indonesia Tatler Traveller reaches, in a country where outbound travel is forecast to grow some 9% year on year,” said Chief Operating Officer Matt Leppard.
The magazine is set to expand its horizons to cover more domestic destinations, among its other exclusive global content aimed at the ultra-rich. Meanwhile, its December edition goes on sale this week.
