First I would like to wish all of our readers a happy new year and a brighter future ahead. The year 2015 passed by so quickly and we are now entering a new beginning. Let’s stay positive and focused on success!
In keeping with this sentiment, our cover story this month presents you with a truly inspiring story: that of Luhut Panjaitan, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs. Luhut holds highly the qualities of credibility, professionalism and a strong spirit of nationalism. He shares with us his views on—and vision for—Indonesia in 2016 and beyond, as well as his philosophy and wisdom. He owes a lot to the country, he says, and tells us exactly how he’ll repay this “debt of honour”.
Moreover, we’re also happy to include with this issue a special supplement for you to treasure, which puts our Indonesia Tatler Ball 2015 in the spotlight once more. The event was held at the Raffles Hotel Jakarta on November 20, 2015, and was a spectacular success featuring amazing entertainment including a performance by American Idol nalist Joshua Ledet, who came all the way from Los Angeles just for us. Meanwhile fabulous fashion shows and a delectable array of dishes and wines kept our guests filled with delight the whole evening.
